Prof. Zhi Li, Xidian University, ChinaEuropean Academy of Natural Sciences FellowZhi Li is a second-class professor at Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology (XUET), and a doctoral supervisor of control theory and control engineering. His main research interests include the theory and application of cooperative control of complex multi-intelligent networks, group intelligent decision-making and optimization, and cooperative control of multi-UAVs, unmanned vehicles and robots. He is a member of the Intelligent System Modeling and Simulation Committee of the Chinese Society of System Simulation, and a member of the Multi-Intelligent Body Systems Group of the Control Theory Committee. Prof. Li has been cited more than 600 times by other people in the SCI journals for the papers published by him as the first author, and the citations of 2 papers are 100 and 139 respectively, and 1 paper was selected as a highly-cited paper for 10 consecutive years. One paper has been selected as a highly cited ESI paper for 10 consecutive years, with 139 SCI citations. |
Prof. Youfu Li, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, ChinaIEEE FellowProf. Li received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology China. He obtained the PhD degree from the Robotics Research Group, Dept of Engineering Science of the University of Oxford in 1993. From 1993 to 1995 he was a postdoctoral research staff in the Dept of Computer Science, University of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK. He joined City University of Hong Kong in 1995 and is currently a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests include robot sensing, robot vision, 3D vision, visual tracking, sensor guided manipulation, mechatronics and automation. In these areas, he has published over 180 papers in SCI listed international journals. Dr Li has received many awards in robot sensing and vision including IEEE Sensors Journal Best Paper Award by IEEE Sensors Council, Second Prize of Natural Science Research Award by the Ministry of Education, 1st Prize of Natural Science Research Award of Hubei Province, 1st Prize of Natural Science Research Award of Zhejiang Province, China. He was on Top 2% of the world’s most highly cited scientists by Stanford University, 2020. He has served as an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Automation Science and Engineering (T-ASE), Associate Editor of IEEE Robotics and Automation Magazine (RAM), Editor of the IEEE Robotics Automation Society's Conference Editorial Board (CEB) and Guest Editor of IEEE Robotics and Automation Magazine (RAM). |
Prof. Saman K. Halgamuge, The University of Melbourne, AustraliaFellow of IEEE, IET, AAIA and NASSLProf Saman Halgamuge, Fellow of IEEE, IET, AAIA and NASSL received the B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, and the Dipl.-Ing and Ph.D. degrees in data engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. He is currently a Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the School of Electrical Mechanical and Infrastructure Engineering, The University of Melbourne and the visiting Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and International) of SLIIT. He is listed as a top 2% most cited researcher for AI and Image Processing in the Stanford database. He was a distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (2018-21). He supervised 50 PhD students and 16 postdocs on AI and applications in Australia to completion. His research is funded by Australian Research Council, National Health and Medical Research Council, US DoD Biomedical Research program and international industry. Prof. Qinmin Yang, Zhejiang University, ChinaIEEE Senior MemberQinmin Yang received the Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Civil Aviation University of China, Tianjin, China in 2001, the Master of Science Degree in Control Science and Engineering from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, MO USA, in 2007. From 2007 to 2008, he was a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Missouri-Rolla. From 2008 to 2009, he was a system engineer with Caterpillar Inc. From 2009 to 2010, he was a Post-doctoral Research Associate at University of Connecticut. Since 2010, he has been with the State Key Laboratory of Industrial Control Technology, the College of Control Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, China, where he is currently a professor. He has also held visiting positions at the University of Toronto and Lehigh University. |
Assoc. Prof. Sohrab Mirsaeidi, Beijing Jiaotong University, ChinaIEEE Senior MemberSohrab Mirsaeidi received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia, in 2016. Subsequently, he furthered his postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, China, from 2016 to 2019. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), China. Sohrab Mirsaeidi has published 60+ papers and two books in the field of microgrids and large-scale power systems. He is a member of the National Technical Committee of Measuring Relays and Protection Equipment Standardization of China and has presided over and participated in several national research projects in China. He is an editorial board member for several international journals and a regular reviewer for IEEE Transactions journals. He has also served as Chair, Keynote/Invited Speaker, and Technical Committee Member in 60+ international conferences. His main research interests include the control and protection of large-scale hybrid AC/DC grids and microgrids, power system stability, and the application of power electronics in power systems.
