Prof. Wenbin Zhao

Cleveland State University, USA


Biography:  Wenbing Zhao (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of California at Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara, in 2002.,He joined Cleveland State University (CSU), Cleveland, OH, USA, in 2004, as an Assistant Professor. He is currently a Full Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, CSU. He is the author of two research monographs titled Building Dependable Distributed Systems (Wiley-Scrivener, 2004) and From Traditional Fault Tolerance to Blockchain (Wiley-Scrivener, 2021). He has published over 200 peer-reviewed journals and conference papers. His current research interests include dependable distributed computing and human-centered computing.,Dr. Zhao has served on the organizing and technical committees of numerous IEEE conferences. He has received the 2018 and 2020 IEEE Access Outstanding Associate Editor Award. He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Access.

Prof. Pierluigi Siano

University of Salerno, Italy


Biography:  Pierluigi Siano (Senior Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in electronic engineering and the Ph.D. degree in information and electrical engineering from the University of Salerno, Salerno, Italy, in 2001 and 2006, respectively. He is currently a Professor and the Scientific Director of the Smart Grids and Smart Cities Laboratory, Department of Management and Innovation Systems, University of Salerno. Since 2021, he has been a Distinguished Visiting Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Science, University of Johannesburg. His research interests include demand response, energy management, the integration of distributed energy resources in smart grids, electricity markets, and the planning and management of power systems. In his research fields, he has coauthored more than 700 articles, including more than 410 international journals that received in Scopus more than 16200 citations with an H-index equal to 62. From 2019 to 2022, he was awarded as a Highly Cited Researcher in Engineering by the Web of Science Group. He has been the Chair of the IEEE IES Technical Committee on Smart Grids. He is an Editor of the Power and Energy Society Section of IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, and IEEE Systems Journal.

Prof. Qinmin Yang

Zhejiang University, China


Biography:  Qinmin Yang received the Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Civil Aviation University of China, Tianjin, China in 2001, the Master of Science Degree in Control Science and Engineering from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, MO USA, in 2007. From 2007 to 2008, he was a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the University of Missouri-Rolla. From 2008 to 2009, he was a system engineer with Caterpillar Inc. From 2009 to 2010, he was a Post-doctoral Research Associate at University of Connecticut. Since 2010, he has been with the State Key Laboratory of Industrial Control Technology, the College of Control Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, China, where he is currently a professor. He has also held visiting positions at the University of Toronto and Lehigh University.

Prof. Xiaodong Zhang

Xi'an Jiaotong University, China


Biography: Study experience:from September 1992 to May 1996, he studied for his PhD in Mechanics at Xi'an Jiaotong University, and received his PhD in Engineering in June 1996; from September 1989 to June 1992, he studied for his MSc in Mechanics at Xi'an Jiaotong University, and received his MSc in Engineering in June 1992; from September 1985 to July 1989, he studied for his BSc in Power Plant, Department of Energy and Power Engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University, and received his BSc in Engineering in July 1989. He received his bachelor's degree in thermal engineering and automation from Xi'an Jiaotong University from September 1985 to July 1989, and his bachelor's degree in engineering from July 1989.

Work experience: After graduating with his PhD in May 1996, he stayed at Xi'an Jiaotong University and taught in the School of Mechanical Engineering until now, and became a lecturer in June 1996 and an associate professor in June 1999. Period: Three-month training visit to the University of Bradford, UK from November 2001 to February 2002; two-year post-doctoral research at Sungkyunkwan University, Korea from December 2003 to December 2005; one-month senior visit to Michigan State University, USA from November 2010 to December 2010.

Academic positions: Member of IEEE; Vice Chairman of the National Research Association of Mechanical Engineering Testing Technology in Universities and Chairman of the Automatic Testing Technology Branch; Vice Chairman of the Dynamic Testing Committee of the Vibration Engineering Society of China; Member of the Engine Test and Testing Technology Committee of the Chinese Aeronautical Society; Member of the Service Robot of the Robot and Robot Equipment Sub-Technical Committee of the National Standardization Technical Committee of Automation Systems and Integration; Member of the Working Group of the Vibration, Test and Vibration Engineering Member of the Working Group of the National Committee for Standardization of Automation Systems and Integration of Robotics and Robot Equipment; Standing Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Vibration, Testing and Diagnosis, etc.
